The final weeks of the school year are upon us, so what better time than now to celebrate the teachers who’ve spent months pouring into our children? Today marks the beginning of teacher appreciation week, and we’re all about pulling out all the stops to show our teachers how much we love and appreciate them! Here are some fun gift ideas for the teachers in your life:
- Books for the classroom. Your teacher might even have a wish list of books she’d like to add to her collection, so ask her assistant or teacher aid if she does!
- A mug and coffee. Every teacher needs her fuel, so why not give her the energy she needs to finish these last weeks strong? We especially love this mug and Kingdom Growers coffee, which you can find at your local Lifeway store. Kingdom Growers coffee comes from cooperatives helping farmers by sharing Christ with them, training them, and helping them keep as much of their proceeds as possible—which we just love!
- A fun tote bag. Teachers definitely have lots to carry to and from their classrooms, so get your teacher the perfect tote bag. Here are some fun options to help her carry her things in style!
- Beautiful jewelry with a social impact. We love the story of 31 Bits, which partners with women in Uganda and Indonesia to make jewelry. Partnering with them, 31 Bits promotes sustainable wages and safe working conditions in an environment where every artisan feels known. To read more about the story of the company, click here.
- The Entrusted Bible study and Lifeway Women Volume 3 Devotional CD. Give your teacher the gift of investing in herself and her time with the Lord. The Entrusted Bible study will be the perfect addition to her quiet time, and the Lifeway Women Volume 3 Devotional CD can be a great way to start her day during the morning commute to school.
- All the planning supplies (notebooks, pens, calendar, planner, etc.). Give your teacher the perfect bundle of supplies she can use to plan her lessons and other commitments.
- A sweet note and gift card. Taking the time to write out some of the things you appreciate most about your teacher can mean more than anything else. Teachers work tirelessly for our kids, and calling out specific things you love and appreciate can be the perfect way to encourage them. Add a gift card to her favorite restaurant or store so she can treat herself too!
Tell us how you are showing your teachers you care this week in the comments below! We’d love to hear your ideas!
