Through this series, we’ll help you discover new studies, new authors, and new topics. This month we’re highlighting women’s studies that also have a version for teen girls (two that also work for guys!). Grab a couple coffees, your Bibles, and one of these studies to dig into together.
Whether you have a teen daughter at home, you mentor a girl from church, or you have a niece you are especially close to, here are six studies that have both adult and teen versions. Study alongside each other or lead a group of teen girls through a study that has impacted your spiritual walk with God.
All Things New by Kelly Minter | 8 sessions
Study 2 Corinthians together. The city of Corinth was like our communities and cities today—full of people and full of problems. In the middle of this busy metropolis, an early church was struggling to make a difference. Paul challenged the church to share the message of reconciliation—the gospel—despite hardship, pain, and struggle. He encouraged the new believers, reminding them the gospel was meant to thrive in circumstances such as these.

This study covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Experience the Bible together as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. (The ah-ha moments are not just for teens!) Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments. Each week is accompanied by maps, general Bible facts, and word studies.
Entrusted by Beth Moore | 6 sessions + Worthy Vessel by Amy Byrd | 6 sessions
While these two studies are by different authors, both are in-depth studies of 2 Timothy and focus heavily on the theme of mentoring. Women and girls alike will be challenged to further God’s kingdom by sharing Christ with others, pour into others as Paul once mentored Timothy, and encourage others to walk in faith as they deliver the message God has entrusted to them. Take it a step further by practicing Scripture memory together with 2 Timothy Scripture Memory Cards.
Looking for Lovely by Annie F. Downs | 7 sessions
As Christians, we are not promised lives of ease. Often it takes just a small moment of beauty to regain hope and continue on when life is chaotic and unpredictable. Only when we learn to spot the lovely in the midst of hardship can we experience the transcendent peace of God that keeps us persevering when we want to give up. This study examines the ordinary people of the Bible—fishermen, farmers, musicians, women—to discover how they sought beauty in their everyday lives to hold on to the hope of God’s perfect timing.
The Battle Plan for Prayer by The Kendrick Brothers | 8 sessions
Great to study with teen girls or guys, this study from the creators of the movie War Room starring Priscilla Shirer will expand your understanding of prayer and spiritual warfare. Together you will develop the spiritual discipline of prayer as well as personal prayer strategies.
A Beautiful Design by Matt Chandler | 9 sessions
For the vast majority of human history, there have been two culturally and socially recognized genders: women and men. Today, leading social institutions recognize more than 50 variations of gender. In less than a century, culturally speaking, the concept of what makes someone a man or a woman has completely changed. Understand the biblical view of God’s design for men and women by examining gender through the lens of Scripture. Topics cover man’s purpose, woman’s purpose, hurdles for each, and redemption for each. This study is great for anyone—women, men, girls, and guys.
