I LUV wall calendars, and I surely need one to keep our household on track. On January 3, 2013, our Bible Study group will begin a Beth Moore Bible Study called David! I am still addicted to the music from our last study, The Patriarchs! Each and every song tells the story of one week of study! I just can’t get enough of it!
I am looking forward to leading a women’s retreat in Gulf Shores, Alabama in March, but I am especially looking forward to my husband receiving his seminary degree in December, 2013.
I am looking forward to continuing to live out God’s plan for my life. I pray that He will make clear to me the path I’m to follow, and will use me to minister to others through writing and speaking. I am hoping for rest and recuperation in 2013. 2012 was a year of intensive parental care-giving. One died at our house, as planned; the other two are now safe in nursing homes. I am worn out, but grateful that we had the opportunity to provide the care we did.

I still use a wall calendar as a back up to my phone calendar but I do enjoy using more anyway. I like to easily open my pantry door and look at upcoming events. What an adorable calendar…and yes, I still have to use a wall calendar for at-a-glance planning. I’m looking forward to adventures with my kids this year and to watch how they change and grow. At 9, 5, and 9-months, it’s a constant process that amazes me and reminds me that only God is in control.
