It occurred to me yesterday afternoon that when LifeWay started simulcasting several years ago, the simulcast option was only available to big groups. Granted, it’s a treat to be able to go to a local church and, for example, watch Beth Moore teach in an arena seven states away, but there are still logistics involved with being away from home on a Friday night and Saturday morning. Taking care of those logistics is definitely worth it, but it’s a challenge nonetheless.
Over the last year there have been some big changes in terms of how LifeWay does simulcasts, and if you aren’t familiar with them, Priscilla Shirer’s upcoming Going Beyond simulcast would be an excellent time to check them out. You can buy an individual simulcast package for only $15 – and if you think it would be fun to have five or six friends over and enjoy the simulcast together, you could purchase one of the small group packages for only $85.
Doesn’t that sound fun? You can hang out with your friends, learn from Priscilla, dig in the Word – all without having to find a babysitter or fight traffic.
There are still options for larger groups, of course, and there could very well be a local church near you that’s hosting (here’s a map of GB Simulcast host churches). But if it’s just not practical for you to be away from home for a couple of days, you can enjoy the simulcast from the comfort of your own living room. Or kitchen. Or wherever you want to set down your laptop.
We hope you’ll be able to join us on May 4-5!
