I don’t know about y’all, but sometimes when I think about the world today’s kids are growing up in, and when I stop and take an inventory of all the pressures they’re going to face – all the issues they’re going to have to tackle head-on – well, it makes me feel like I can’t breathe so well.
There’s just so much junk out there. So much brokenness. So much.
That’s why I’m more grateful than I can say for moms who are helping the rest of us fight the good fight. Vicki Courtney is one of those moms, and I value her insight and wisdom like crazy.
A couple of days ago Vicki posted a great blog post, and I thought I’d pass along the link in case some of y’all missed it. Because even though I don’t have a child who’s texting age (yet), I so appreciate Vicki’s reminder about the importance of communicating openly and honestly with our kids.
