There are few moments in life when our need for God is as clearly evident as it is right now.
New words have entered our vocabulary as a new virus has infiltrated our lives. A simple trip to the grocery store suddenly seems risky. A common hug now seems untenable while the “social distance” of six feet apart has separated our greetings and gatherings. Attending events in stadiums or living rooms with more than ten people seems like a memory.
Good news: although current life-adjustments might be a surprise to us, they are not a surprise to the One who is sovereign.
Even as we enter Holy Week while separated from physical rooms full of family and friends, God is still accomplishing His work in and through us–and maybe in ways even more powerful than what we might expect.
Men, it’s time.
It’s time to come together and seek God. It’s time to fast and pray. It’s time to intercede for our nations, churches, and families.
And a trusted Christian leader has a message to share.
This Good Friday, you are invited to join Dr. Tony Evans for a historic meeting. Yes, we may not be able to meet together in person. But we can come together in spirit. Pulling from Exodus 34, Dr. Evans will be challenging the men of this generation to step up, to meet with God, to place ourselves under His Lordship and covering, and to be the men God has called us to be in our personal lives, family lives, church lives, and community lives.
Participants will be encouraged and inspired during the free gathering and have access to a Fasting and Prayer Guide to help them engage Dr. Evans’ challenge in greater depth throughout the next day.
