Vacations are over. School is starting back. Football is back on TV. That can only mean one thing. Fall is almost here. If your family is anything like mine, it sort-of gets back into a rhythm this time of year. It’s a great time to start a new Bible study. Here are 5 great studies I recommend for your group of men. Any of these could also be done individually or maybe even with your son (except for Christ-Centered Parenting.)
Christ-Centered Parenting – Russell Moore and Phillip Bethancourt
Do you ever feel ill equipped to talk about the cultural issues of our day? Designed to help you lead your children and teens in a confident and responsible way, this 6-session resource will equip you to address pressing cultural topics which children of all ages, from preschoolers through young adults, face, including:
- Gender issues
- Suicide, depression, and anxiety
- Addiction and coping mechanisms
- Same-sex marriage
- Singleness, dating, marriage, and divorce
Unfolded – Eric Geiger
Many men know specific Bible stories, but do they know the overarching story of the Bible? Join Eric Geiger over 8 sessions to explore God’s powerful story of redemption– the story of a God who loves us, longs to be known by us, and ultimately invites us into His story. Though there are many heroes in the Old and New Testaments, you’ll discover the one true Hero of our faith: Jesus.
Knowing Jesus – Robby Gallaty
Explore the Gospel of John and move toward a more intimate relationship with Jesus through His miracles, what He said about Himself, and what others said about Him. Early Christian tradition suggests that John’s exclusive purpose for writing his Gospel was to proclaim Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God. He wanted his readers to know Jesus – from His words, from the words of others, and from His miracles. Knowing Jesus will help you grow in your faith, excel in good works, and know Jesus more intimately.
Manhood Restored [Online Bible Study] – Eric Mason
Manhood will always be in crisis until Jesus returns. But in Christ, men can be restored with ever increasing glory into the undefiled image of God. This six-session study leads men on a journey through masculinity, with Bible-study sessions on the problems men face, God’s solutions, and the restorations of worldview, sexuality, vision, and family.
This study is theologically rich. But, not at the expense of application. It also has very practical components to give men the beginning steps to walk in gospel-centered manhood. Join Eric Mason online for this 6-session online Bible study journey. Click here to find out more or sign up for free.
