The Preteen Leader Bible Study identifies Philip as one of the seven chosen to serve the widows of the Jerusalem church. The Practice Bible Skills identifies him as one of the twelve apostles or disciples.
Sorry for the confusion. This is a topic of debate as to whether the same Philip was both a disciple and one of the seven deacons. However, there was a Philip the disciple and a Philip listed as a deacon in the Bible.
