Holy cow! This World Changers project might have been small, but after hearing all the project results, offering totals, and God stories our minds have been blown. Have a listen.
God used our 5 crews to work on 8 homes this week. We completed 8 projects including roofing, building fences, sheet rocking walls, building ceilings, painting interior and exterior walls, laying laminate floors and tile, and multiple other projects.
Our 60 participants shared their faith with over 40 people, were able to pray with more than 13 neighbors, and one person came to faith in Christ!
And you won’t believe the offering total these participants obediently returned to the Lord… Alyse, the MACS, set the goal at a whopping $10 per person, aiming for a goal of $600. Keep in mind that many of these participants have previously been to a WC project this summer already. The offering was taken up Thursday night and an auction followed shortly after worship. We auctioned off some super antique WC Swag that came from Jon Hodge’s (the PC) swag shed back at his home. We raised $450 from the auction alone!! Combined with the missions offering we received during worship brings us to a total of… Drum roll, please… …. …. … $1483!!! Are you kidding me?!
Holy. COWS. God showed up and showed completely out this week. We have all been blown away. The staff cannot wait to hear what wonderful things will happen when we return next summer. Plans are already in order for WC to return in June of next summer.
God moved in power in Moore this week. He brought all the details together in a short amount of time. He moved mightily in worship. Through these faithful World Changers people in Moore were comforted, healed, loved, given hope and restored. What a mighty God we serve!
