As the end of our awesome week together is getting closer to the end, these participants are still acting and have the energy as if it was the first day here. They are at their worksites on time and working harder than ever. It’s because of this hard work that every crew is ahead of schedule, and some crews even finished their houses today!
Tonight, instead of worship, we did something called the Concert of Prayer. This is a time for everyone to spend a night in prayer and worship to our Lord. We prayed for revival in our hearts, we prayed for the city of Clovis, we prayed for our cities back home, and we prayed for the world.
The theme this year for World Changers is “Change the City, Change the World.” We firmly believe that if we want to see a change in this world, then it starts in the cities. If we can impact a person, then that person will change a family, and that family will change a community, and that community will change the city, and that city can then change the world. If we want to see a change in the world, then we must change the cities; the world will follow.
Tonight is also the last night that the e-ncouragrams will be open. If you’d like to send a note to a student or leader, then this is the last night to do it!
