Thursday!

Hey Friends and Family,

Its Thursday here in Winston and today has been great.

We started out our day with our daily send off where Molly shared her testimony. It was such an awesome story of how God’s joy is everlasting, even through hard times. Then, she prayed for the day and we headed out to our work sites.

It was an awesome day on our work sites. God has given us so many opportunities to share his name.

Hump Day!

Hey Friends and Family,

We just wrapped up our Wednesday here in Winston and oh what a day!

Today we started the day with our daily send off where we heard from Nicole about why she was here.  Then we all loaded up and headed out to our work sites. Despite a little rain, we still accomplished so much today!

After a long day of work, we all came back together and hosted a community night. This was an outreach event where we invited members of the community to come hang out and play games, eat free cookies, popcorn, snow cones, and more and just fellowship with one another.

This was such an awesome time to be intentional with the community we are working in. These World Changers saw this opportunity to be intentional and  seized it. Just one example of this is that a delivery guy stopped by to drop off ice cream and one of our participants saw an opportunity to share Christ. After about a twenty minute conversation and a long time in prayer, our ice cream delivery man professed Jesus as his Lord and Savior. God is SO GOOD!!

After such an awesome time of fellowship, we invited the community to join us for our worship service. Here, Alyse talked about Biblical community and its importance towards living a life on mission. Craig spoke after her and talked about how Christ is Pivotal through the Holy Spirit.

WOW, today was such an awesome day. God is so great and is showing that this week! Please continue to cover us with your prayers and encouragement.

Tuesday in Winston!

Hey Friends and Family,

Tuesday here in Winston is coming to a close! It has been such an awesome day.

This morning we had our Great Send Off. We rounded up all our students in the parking lot, got them pumped up for the day, prayed for them, and sent them out to start working.

So today was the first day out on our sites. We are spread out all over Winston and the surrounding areas painting, building ramps, landscaping, and so much more. But we are here to do so much more than that. We want to use this construction work to share the love of  our Lord.

After a long day of work, we all gathered together for our Gathering service. Tonight was all about how Christ is pivotal for today. Alyse shared the second foundation for a life on mission, which is spiritual maturity. Then Craig shared with us from Colossians  3. He shared with us how important Christ is to our lives everyday.

It has been such a great day. God is already doing incredible things here. Please continue to pray and send your encouragement! Thanks Guys.

He taught from John 1:1-10 about how Christ was here since the beginning.
