The Living Proof Simulcast is tomorrow! Are you planning to join us? (It’s not too late! You can still join at a church near you or from your living room.)
Here are a few tips for getting the most out of the simulcast:
- Use the hashtag! Posting about your experience is a super easy way to be a part of the global simulcast community. Just post and/or search for #LProof16 to see other women from all around the world tuning into the simulcast and to see those participating at the live event.
- Bring a blanket. Is anyone else always cold in church? If you’re attending at a local church, bring a blanket and get cozy!
- Host a pajama party. If you’re inviting your small group to your home to watch, why not tell everyone to come in their pajamas? Saturdays are for soft pants, in our opinion, and today should be no exception.
- Offer a simple breakfast. Buy some cereal, muffins, bananas, donuts, and coffee for the perfect easy and delicious morning meal.
- Coffee, coffee, coffee. A coffee bar is a fun addition for those hosting at churches or in their homes, or make sure to brew a big pot to enjoy all morning long if you’re joining us on your own.
- Make a photo booth. Attendees will have a super fun memory to look back on, boas and all. (Psst! Don’t forget to use the hashtag! We want to see your pictures!)
- Make it a play date. Worried about entertaining the kids? Invite over some neighborhood friends for a play date—the mommas can enjoy the simulcast event while the kiddos play together.
- Snacks on snacks on snacks. Whether it’s a small group or a large church event, munch-able snacks are always appreciated. Keep it simple and put some chex mix, pretzels, or trail mix in the middle of tables.
- Anticipate needs. Make sure you have pens, paper, tissues, and water on hand.
- Gather prayer requests and pray together. The simulcast is a powerful event—we love seeing how God uses it to transform hearts. For church hosts, consider having a prayer request table and/or volunteers to pray one-on-one with attendees. For small group hosts, ask the women you’re hosting how you can be praying for them, and then spend time in prayer before you go your separate ways.
