Did you know that in Hebrew culture, Saturdays were the Sabbath day? Though most churches meet on Sundays now, Saturdays used to be the day of rest and worship. For a lot of us, Saturdays are filled with soccer games, groceries, house work, and generally getting caught up on everything we were too busy to complete during the week.
Not exactly a day of rest, right?
So what if we reclaimed this Saturday as a Sabbath? What if we slowed down, sipped a few extra cups of coffee, worshipped, and learned from God’s Word? Would you join us for that?
