Here are a few things we’re loving this week.
We’re looking for dessert recipes for our upcoming Thanksgiving recipes and our main requirement is pumpkin. Chocolate also doesn’t hurt. That’s why we love this recipe for pumpkin marble brownies—it seems to cover all the bases!
Made From Earth sent us a few products to try and here’s what we loved about them:
- Leigh Ann tried the Vitamin C Moisturizer – I loved the way it absorbed! It didn’t feel too greasy or too watery, and seemed to have the right consistency (at least the kind I like). It also didn’t have much of a scent, so if you’re wearing perfume, it won’t clash with it.
- Larissa tried the Skin Correcting Facial Mist with Vitamin C and loved it. – It absorbs into my skin so well and feels like it tightens. Plus it smells amazing. I apply it right after the shower and right before I moisturize.
- Larissa also tried the Tea Tree + Protein Shampoo – it has worked really well on my fine hair. It doesn’t leave my hair heavy and flat like a lot of shampoos.
- Heather tried the D’anjou Pear Organic Lip Balm – I loved the scent and how thick it applied on my lips. I felt like I was getting a lot of much-needed moisture for this dry time of year!
- Elizabeth tried the Beeswax Butter Lip Balm – I loved that the balm went on smooth and provided a gloss. It’s great for wearing over lip color or by itself.
- We also tried the bar soap and it smells amazing!
We love this song and video from Natalie Grant:

Natalie will be at our Abundance events in Asheville, Dallas, and Fort Wayne. We’d love for you to join us to worship with us!
This post from Dr. Russell Moore about adoption is an excellent read for all Christians. We love his heart for adoption. This quote is one of our favorites: “Caring for orphans means, in a very real sense, joining them in their distress.”
