Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
I just turned 20 at the beginning of June. I have struggled for such a long time about being a leader for God. I had the mindset that I was still a child, so how could I ever be an example for other people? When I came upon this verse it was as if God hit me over the head with a 2×4. It never stops amazing me that my God who could do all of this by Himself would choose to let me have a small part in it. I am truly blessed—there are just no other words than “blessed.”
