- Twenty-somethings with an earnest, deep desire to grow and serve
- More women dealing with sin issues such as sexual impurity, pornography, etc; more tolerance of sin
- 50 and 60-somethings are less plugged in to serve, they are too busy with their families and their careers
- Extreme vanity
- Negative outlook caused by state of the nation
- Depression and feelings of being overwhelmed
- Simplicity-less is more, less things, more depth
- Multigenerational and multi racial
- Single mothers
- Hunger for transparency without condemnation
- Want to discuss hard topics women are facing in today’s culture especially sexuality and peer pressure to conform to world)
- Trend to be busy
- Women elevate kids above all else
- Chronic health issues
- Deterioration of marriages
- Despite years of Bible study, women cannot tell you where God is at work in their lives today
- Less biblical literacy
- Inductive & expository rather than topical Bible studies
- Less participation in events
- Movement from large group to small group activities
- Rather communicate through technology and lose heart connections
- Online Bible studies
- Use of social media
- Online registration for events
- Focus on activities of local church vs. traveling to larger events away
- Women serving globally for longer term/career
- Homeschooling, foster, adoptive moms
- Younger women strong desiring older women in their lives, church life, relationships
- Increased awareness of need to produce the next generation of leaders in women’s ministry
