  1. Kelly Hamilton says

Every year I go to Gatlinburg with 20 of my closest friends. . . yes, TWENTY! We have been taking this trip together for 10 or so years and we’ve shared so many things: Weddings, divorces, births, deaths, surgeries, happiness, sadness. . . all of life. We see each other throughout the year on odd occasions but we make sure we have the first weekend in May for our trip to Tennessee. I’d love to win this . . .but how could I pick JUST ONE BEST FRIEND??

  2. Kerry says

    Kerry, Jackson, TN
My best friend has been in my life for a very long time. We email multiple times everyday and while we have not lived in the same city since 2000, we have still remained best friends. We get a chance to get together about 3 times per year. We both love talking about football, Go Broncos! Go Titans for her, and our last outing was in Nashville at a Titan’s game. She is always lovingly very honest with me and calls me out when I need it :-) Her daily presence in my life, though my inbox, is very special to me.

  3. Julie T says

My best friend is my choir, handbell and bible study buddy! We attend every Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer event that is close by! She has been such an inspiration to so many, but especially to me. We come from totally different backgrounds, yet we have a kindred spirit. I’m so glad God brought us together!

  4. Ellen Pollock says

My best friend and I can laugh without even a word being shared! It is just that knowing glance. We love to spend time at the beach together, cooking good Greek food (she’s part Greek!), and generally being lazy. We love so much of the same things, and we are each others family. We don’t live in the same city anymore but we pick up wherever we left off just as if it were yesterday. I have never had such a dear sister. I’m so grateful that God brought us into each other’s lives a little over 10 yeras ago!

  5. Dena says

I have known my best friend in the world literally my entire life. My father has known her mother since they were children! She has been there for me thru thick and thin, marriage and divorce, children and now we both just became first time grandmothers! She always tells me what she thinks, rather than what I want to hear because she cares about me and what’s best for me. She’ll leave the door open…do what you want, she says, but I know ultimately, after giving her advice some thought, she’s right about most everything! And I do the same for her! Nothing like a great friend to make life bearable and get thru the hard times!

  6. says

I prayed my best friend into my life! I told specifically what I needed and he didn’t let me down. She is understand, funny (this is most for me, life is too serious), she is compassionate and a wonderful cook. Love this treasure that my Lord has gifted me with! Feelings so blessed right now

  7. Lisa Maynard says

My best friend is definitely my sister. It hasn’t always been that way. Growing up we spent more time at odds with each other than in sync. But now, I cherish her and love her and count it a privilege to call her my friend.

  8. Jenn P says

My best friend was placed into my life at just the right time for both of us. We understand each other so well and our friendship takes very little effort as a result. She is honest and encouraging, and we have shared a lot of deep experiences together over the years. And the best part is that we pray together!

  9. Mary Hall says

My best friend is my husband, he is always there for me and we are truly one. we can talk and laugh about anything and everything :)

  10. Tricia Augeri says

This is would be a wonderful gift to the ladies in my community if we won this! I don’t really have a “best” friend, I have a few sister in Christ that God has blessed me with. I am so thankful for them, to laugh with them, cry with them, shop with them and just learn from them.

  11. jackie from MO says

my best friend is named Jackie, just like me, although she laughs and says my name should be ‘jack-ay’, because i am a life-wire and she’s more down to earth!
we’ve been through many things through the years and are always there for each other. she’s a blessing!

  12. Heather Smith says

Jesus is my best friend. I have been hurt too many times and not found a new best friend I trust. So I say He is my best friend cause He never leaves.

  13. Rhonda says

My precious friend, Lolly, listens with such care. She prays for me and loves me just like Jesus does, unconditionally. She is a blessing to me and to many others who are honored to be her friends.

  14. Nadia Leonard says

Hope this finds you well! I would love to be partake in the word and in worship with both Priscilla and Anthony:)

  15. says

My best friends name is Tiffany, aka BESTEST. We have a truly David/Jonathan relationship. We met at youth camp the summer before 7th grade, and have been best friends ever since. We connected over the Mandy books and a little joke on the HS girls that was awesome…. we have walked every stage of life together, even when we were in a different stage. We have kept each other accountable, been the iron, the truth and the grace. We have ministered in the uttermost parts of the earth together, and even in our own local church. She is the “Aunt” to my babies, and we both have daughters that share each others middle names. She is my biggest fan, prayer warrior and supporter (outside of my husband and parents) and I hope she would say the same for me. She is the most transparent person i know. I wouldnt be who i am today withtout her.

  16. Laura says

I would love to win this! My husband is my best friend. I know it’s cliche, but it’s completely true. No one knows me better.

  17. Charlene Geren says

I’ve been friends with Twyla since I was 13. We went thru highschool together into every mischief (playful) that you can imagine.once we hid in a corn patch with our trombones and at the bottom of the hill was local bar room.when the people would come out we would blast those trombones so loud…the people would be inebriated and everyone of them would look up at the sky.we always would laugh because we thought they were thinking it was gabriel blowing his horn.hahaha. now we are grandmothers and have a life of stories for our children and grandchildren.we live in separate states but are still as close as ever.

  18. Jessica Williams says

This event would be such a blessing I went to a going deeper event it was hands down the most amazing thing I ever been to! My best friend is my husband Scott! 22. Kathy S says

Recently completed Priscilla’s Discerning the Voice of God. What a message. I would be honored to “spend the day with her!”

  23. Katie Hartshorn says

Priscilla is one of my favorites! My best friend’s name is Megan and God brought us into each others lives at the time we needed each other the most! She is one of the most Godly women I know! She challenges me to be more like God, she speaks truth into my life (even when it’s not the easiest to hear) and she can make me laugh like no one else! :)

  24. Joy says

my best friend, Michelle, is one of those unexpected friends. God gave me this friendship unexpectedly. We have spent years investing in one another with prayer, tears, lots of laughter, trips, quiet talks over coffee and always looking for ways to minister to women through some type of fun. When we met almost 11 yrs ago, I would have never expected the deep friendship that has been a sweet gift from the Lord.

  25. Kirsten Lascano says

We (Bible study group) watched Priscilla in my home last year – what a blessing! My closest girlfriend is also my workout partner at 4:45 every morning. We do a devotional and catch up on the antics of our teenagers for about 15 min and then get our “sweat” on. I love her so dearly because she has experienced the frantic mom, disappointed wife, discouraged church volunteer and she still wants to be my friend. God sent me an angel in my friend, Val!

  26. Pam says

I LOVE Priscilla! I would be so blessed to have her simulcast in my home . . .
I have two best friends. We form a triad that strengthens one another, keeps each other accountable, knows each others deepest secrets and still, we love one another.

  27. kimberlee says

My best friend doesn’t live in my state, nor have I even met her in person!! We do Christian blog challenges together, which is the next best thing to being in a Bible study togetherer. We challenge each other in how we relate to our husbands and parenting our preteens. She’s been very consistent in remembering me in my grief which meant so much the first year.

  28. Janice Pearson says

My best friend encourages me in Christ, reminds me that I am loved by God & to keep seeking intimate relationship with him. My best friend is kind, non judgmental and always there for me. People like her are hard to find. Thank you Lord for our friendship.

  29. Diane Newcomer says

My best friend is my husband. He makes me laugh everyday, takes care of me and always has a listening ear. We have fun doing significant and insignificant tasks together. He leads me closer to Christ each day and is the person I want to be with the most.

  30. Susan B. says

    Love Priscilla!!!!

My bestie is someone who has seen me through thick and thin…good and bad…and still likes me! We love nothing more than a Starbucks, shopping and lunch!

  31. Vickie Casey says

Vickie Casey, I would love to see this event!
My best is such an amazing woman of God who is such an inspiration and has taught me so much about life as well as God’s word! I always said she could be on the platform with all of you wonderful Lifeway women someday (that’s how gifted she is imho) but God has taken her on a very different path for now, a few years ago she diagnosed with Lupus and it has caused her so much physical pain and exhaustion. She also has a toddler and 13 yr old to raise amidst this. Despite her challenges she continues to speak into my life and all those in our Women’s Bible Study in ways that nothing short of God’s grace fully living through her.

  32. Claire Moon says

My best friend, Kimberly, is 13 years older, and doubles as my big sister. I happen to be of a lighter hue than Kimberly, and for all of our cultural experiences and differences we are two peas in a pod. The Lord has gifted us for “such a time is this” type of friendship. I lost my dad 6 months before she lost hers, and God has used each other to survive the ups and downs of life in fine form. Whether on the floor with snot and tears or threatening to take a praise lap around the church we get to do life together for the journey. Plus Kimberly introduced me to Priscilla, and for that I am super grateful.

  33. Porsche Holland says

    Porsche H. (Montgomery, AL)

What a blessing to have the opportunity to enjoy sound teaching in the fellowship of godly women! My bff LaWanda is an awesome encouragement and servant to all she encounters. Her will and desire to obey God in the midst of suffering, persecution, and lack is amazing and her wisdom is so beneficial. I am so grateful for her friendship!

  34. Heather says

My first PShirer study was during my 1st summer just out of cancer treatment. During a time when God felt so far away from me, I was reminded that even though I felt alone, I would never walk alone. It was a comfort to dig into His word surrounded by sweet and precious women of God. Thank God for true friends who have looked past my circumstances and physical changes to see me, God’s beloved.

  35. says

I have 3 bff’s – my sisters. When we are together, we are laughing and crying and sometimes both at once. All the time hanging on to each other like we are on a lifeboat. We are not just joined by blood, but by the heart. They hold me accountable to my hopes & dreams, they “sing my song to me when I have forgotten the words,” and they also beareth, hopeth, believeth, and endureth all of my nonsense. They are fashionably dress in “ness” layers. When they come in a room, you immediately notice their kindness, their gentleness, their forgiveness, and that stylish scarf of non judgement so that none of our necks are too far out there! They are my bits of heaven from God.

  36. says

My best friend is my beautiful friend and sister in Christ, Sharon…We met 6 years ago when we were back in high school and have grown together in our love for the LORD. Although i moved to the U.S for college and she is still in Nigeria, our friendship has thrived so much. We make it a point to let each other be involved in our lives and pour into each other. She probably knows me more than any one else in the world, and as a very closed person i am thankful that i have one person who knows all of me and my testimony. I love her to the moon and back

  37. Katrina Goenaga says

I love my best friend, Anne Marie, for SO many reasons, but mainly because she helped me through the 65 hour long birth of my sweet baby girl this past July.

  38. Sarah Partain says

I can’t even put my best friend dana into words. She inspires me, challenges me, and guides me like no one else. Her wisdom far exceeds her age and her love for Vhrist is one of the most beautiful displays of His heart that I have ever known. I thank God every day for her and blessing me so much for putting her in my life for more than 10 years now! :)

  39. Laura says

I would love to see Priscilla…she is one of my favorite speakers / Bible study leaders.

I am on the back side of forty and my oldest and dearest friend I meet as a sophomore in HS. All these years later, we still love to sit around and talk and just be together. True friendship, where you can be yourself, is so hard to find. I am so blessed to have such a great friend.

  40. Jocelyn Thompson says

Wow! Would so love this. I am 47 years old and my best friend and I have known each other since we were about 3 years old. We were neighbors …just growing up together. We have been through many things together. The good, the bad, the ugly., the beautiful. Love her dearly!

  41. says

This would be a huge blessing in my life to win. My best friend lives several states away but still takes time to value me and care for me. We both have toddlers and he time it takes to connect is challenging but worth it. I would love to meet her half way for a life way event!

  42. Debra Adkins says

I last saw Priscilla with Kay Arthur and Beth Moore in Nashville. I had the best time. I had just joined my church and didn’t know a soul, but felt compelled to go. It was a life changing weekend for me. I would love to attend on of Priscilla’s events again.

My best friend, Kim, and I have been through thick and thin together. She is the one I can tell an;ything. We encourage each other, support each other, and tell each other the truth. She truly is my cheerleader. When days of life get tough, we spur each other on with the promises we have from our Lord and Savior. Yearly, we try to go to an event and just went to Charleston, SC this fall with a few days layover at the beach of course, and was truly blessed by Beth Moore and Travis Cottrell and the praise team.

If I win these tickets, I will suprise her with our next adventure. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

  43. Megan says

(yay, simulcast! Praying one is available in Amarillo!) My best friends are my husband Sam and my friend Dawn. Dawn and I have been through so many seasons of our lives together, always supporting, encouraging, loving, and urging each other toward Christ, I love her to bits! Sam and I have been married only a year and a half – neither of us can believe just how blessed we are, he is not perfect, I am not perfect, but we are perfect for each other!

  44. Vickey Cowart says

I am blessed to have many Best Friends!! My best friends at my church love to attend conferences whenever they are close by ( within a 4-5 hour drive). We share our love for Jesus through prayer, fellowship, and excercise. I am also blessed to have best friends from childhood (I am 48 years old) in which we still enjoy our relationship after all these years.

  45. alisha says

Hi my name is Alisha and I love my best friend ..she is my sister and she is so great becasue we both share an absolute LOVE FOR GOD!!!! We are kind of the same yet opposites in other ways. 46. Chellé says

God was gracious to give me my Best friend weeks before delivering my second son. I now have three children ages 8,10 & 13 and she four. All of our kids were born 5 months apart so our children are as close as we are :-) I love her because she’s hilarious and wise and patient and kind but mostly… Because she is unwavering in her faith!!!

  47. says

“A true friend knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten how it goes”. So thankful for my best friend Trudy who has sung my heart song back to me too many times to mention!! She is truly a gift from above!!

  48. Anna says

Oh how I miss my best friend. She moved recently, and now we only get to see each other a couple times a year. But I do have other friends here; great friends. Thank God for giving us girlfriends!

  49. Jessica Ables says

My sister-in-law became my best friend after my mom died 5 years ago. She has a lot of wisdom and seems younger than her age. She also survived a 4-year battle with cancer and has been free of the disease for over a year. God is amazing! Would absolutely love to see this simulcast! Can’t wait for Gideon’s release next year!

  50. Colette says

My best friend is my husband but my other best friend is the girl version of my husband! I think it is funny how God gives you your best friends! And how they are perfect for us! He is so good!!! :-)

  51. Marketa Edwards says

We can laugh together till we cry and cry together till we laugh, or just be silent and share a wealth of understanding. She knows about all about my life and loves me anyway. Jesus loves me through her. I am blessed. :-)

  52. Melanie Hall says

I just love the words “friend and friendships”. The Lord definitely brought my best friend in to my life as it was not just by chance that we met. She was born the year I was graduating from high school and she is originally from 2 states over from mine. She only lived in my town for a couple of years. We have been best friends now for almost 15 years and in that time she has moved to 3 different states, and is just now back to within a 1/2 day’s driving distance. Her son is my “adopted” son and I treasure her family. I praise God for her Christian friendship and for so many others in my life!

  53. Marketa Edwards says

We can laugh together until we cry and cry together until we laugh. Even in silence we share great understanding. She knows all about me and loves me anyway. Jesus loves me through her. I am blessed. :-)

  54. Robin Taylor says

I would love to win this. I would have to say at 46, that my momma is my very best friend, we have been through so much together. We lost my brother at 54 last year and my dad this past August, they were married 57 years. She is a wonderful Christian mom, wife, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend.
