Pushed back

Earlier this year I heard Beth Moore speak at an event and one of the verses she used was from Psalm 118:13.
“I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me.
The Lord is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.”
She used it to illustrate that the enemy is always looking for ways to “push us back” and take away ground the Lord has given us, but the Lord is our strength. He will give us the power we need to get our ground back and get the victory we need in all areas of our life.
Lately I’ve felt a little pushed back and need to remember that the battle belongs to the Lord. And I bet I’m not the only one.
Also, just a quick reminder about the Facebook party coming up this Friday, June 1st.
We are giving away a Kindle Fire, a $100 gift card to LifeWay Stores, and a couple of Malachi Leader Kits! You can enter RIGHT NOW to win at http://lfwy.co/malachilive. We will announce winners during the party, so you have to sign up by 11:59 PM CDT on Thursday May 31st.
The party will be hosted by Chris Adams and Angie Smith, and we’ll have some special guests, including Lisa Harper (of course!), Kelly Minter, Melinda Doolittle, Patsy Clairmont, and Natalie Grant .
Hope to see you all there.
