Random Thoughts Part 9: More Spiritual Lessons for Leaders

You can read Random Thoughts Part 1 through 8 that were previous posts.  Here are a few more thoughts that have blessed me and I pray will bless you as well.

1.    "Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginings." – St. Francis de Sales.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the everlasting way. Psalms 139:23-24 (HCSB).

Lord, I know you will take care of this situation. Forgive me for forgetting. You know each anxious thought I have.

2.    "Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward with the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence." – Og Mandino

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139:13-14

I know this pain and confusion are just for a time. Your grace will sustain and bring back the smiles.

As you read these, ask God how He wants you to respond to Him.
