A great giveaway for a great getaway!

That’s right, ladies. LifeWay Women insists on helping get your 2009 off to a great start! Wouldn’t it be fun to take the women at your church on a fun weekend retreat … without having to plan that retreat from scratch? Why not let us do that for you?
Well, here’s what we’re going to do next in our efforts to spread the Christmas cheer.
Comment to this post if you’d like to be included in the giveaway of a Beth Moore “Loving Well” Retreat Kit in a Box. Check it out!
If you’ve been looking for a great way to get your best girlfriends together for some fun, fellowship and some bigtime focus in God’s Word – THIS retreat is your answer. In fact, a retreat like this may be the perfect ministry opportunity to reach out to unchurched friends in your community and get them involved!
This retreat kit is chocked full of terrific bible teaching by Beth, with some downright funny stuff from Living Proof Praise & Worship guy, Travis Cottrell. There are even some suggestions for games and goodtimes to help retreat leaders “fill in the gaps” between awesome teaching sessions from Beth on how to “love well”.
And of course, there WILL be some discussion to share about hair products!
So, wait no longer. Comment on, girls. We’ll hold the random drawing and announce the winner November 28!

I love your blog, and of course love Beth and her word from the Lord that she shares in her bible studies. I am a women’s leader and I am trying revive it again, trust is a huge issue for my ladies but I know with God all things are possible. Thanks for your inspiration in this blog.

What a great idea…a retreat in a box! Many times the “leader” is just as worn out and tired and out of ideas as those ladies excited about attending the retreat. How nice it would be to have lots of activities and ideas right at your fingertips, allowing even the leader to participate and be refreshed!

My girlfriends and I were just talking about how we needed to get away and take some time together! What better way than to spend time with your best friends and time with the Lord?!

  4. Amy M from NC says

I would love to plan a getaway for early 2009. In fact, names are popping into my head as I type. I have taken several of Beth’s studies and know that it would be a great start to 2009!

I would dig the Living Well study. I’ve done most of Beth’s studies, and they fire me up.
    Thank you for the opportunity.

This would be such a timely Bible Study series for me and my group of ladies. I am dealing with a few people who are difficult to love. I go home from work everyday not happy with how I responded to them. Whether I win this or not, I will still find it and do it with the ladies. Thanks for the giveaway.

  7. Audrey says

My girlfriends and I are planning a week long getaway to the beach sometime this spring. This would be a wonderful addition to our little “woman’s retreat”. I would love to win this! I love Beth Moore!

Wow…this would be such a blessing…I feel like me and my girlfriends are far flung at different places of worship and parts of the city…it would be really wonderful to have a resource like Loving Well to gather us all together.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

Our church is a plant church and are just being to form a women’s ministry. I am on the leadership team and can not TELL you what a blessing it would be to get this Loving Well retreat. We have been talking about doing a small retreat and this would be perfect!

  12. Anna says

Our women’s ministry would really enjoy a retreat! It would be a wonderful way to encourage our members, a way to encourage people new to the women’s program as well as those not in church.
We’d love to win the retreat here in Georgia!

  13. says

    I love women’s retreats!
It’s like a big slumber party with your Bible, flannel pajamas, unlimited coffee, and tissue boxes. (We don’t know why we cry, we just know it feels good. Men will never get it.)
    Count me in!

  14. Misti says

That would be so fun. I saw those at the tables when I saw Beth in Sept in Billings. Thanks Boo mama, all access and Beth! Happy Thanksgiving!

It has been a tough year for our church financially, but trusting in the Lord to carry us through. It would be such a blessing to have something like this to offer to our women — Beth Moore’s “Loving Well: Retreat Kit in a Box” — what inspiration and fun!

  16. says

This sounds great!! Our women’s Bible study group (which got started back in the summer with Beth’s suggested Kelly Minter study) is planning a winter retreat… this would be wonderful to have!! Thanks for the chance.

  17. Shelley M. says

Love Beth Moore! The word Retreat just jumped out at me and I had to enter. I have been thinking about this word…but not the quiet refuge…but rather the run for cover form of the word :) – I could use a kit like this:)

  18. Jessica M says

Oh my, would be so excited to win this! I know just the group of women that would be up for this adventure. Don’t we all need a little retreat once in awhile?

  19. Carla says

Our group of gals is just finishing a Beth Moore study and I can’t think of anything better than a retreat like this for us as a celebration!

  20. says

Can you believe most of the women at my church haven’t heard of Beth Moore’s amazing studies? I’d love to bless them with this one!! (And I’m sure the two ladies planning our Women’s Retreat would LOVE it, too!!)

  21. says

I would love to win this! So fun!
However, I feel like I’ve entered my name already for this. Did I? Or am I just crazy! Either way, I’d love to win!

This sounds like a wonderful blessing you are doing here. Me and some ladies at my church have been trying to get a group started. This would be a perfect way for me to do what God has laid on my heart. Thank you, and may god bless you all…

Oh my goodness gracious – just look at how many comments here! Well…I’ll take a shot – I think this would be a great event to plan for a group of college girls (I am the mental health counselor at a Christian university). Here’s praying….
