Day 1: Dare to Change

Bible Story: Paul Learned to Love Jesus (Acts 9:1-21)

Verse: God helps me. I will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:6)

Life Application: I can know that God loves me and helps me.

Day 2: Dare to Speak Up

Bible Story: Barnabas was a friend to Paul (Acts 9:20-31)

Verse: God helps me. I will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:6)

Life Application: I can know that God gives me friends who help me.

Day 3: Dare to Believe

Bible Story: Paul and Silas in Jail (Acts 16:22-34)

Verse: God helps me. I will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:6)

Life Application: I can show love to others.

Day 4: Dare to Stand Strong

Bible Story: Paul Talked to the People (Acts 21:37-23:11)

Verse: God helps me. I will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:6)

Life Application:

  • Babies–2s: I can tell others about Jesus.
  • 3s–Kindergarten: I can tell what I know about Jesus.

Day 5: Dare to Trust

Bible Story: God Took Care of Paul (Acts 27)

Verse: God helps me. I will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:6)

Life Application:

  • Babies–2s: I can hear that God loves and cares for me.
  • 3s–Kindergarten: I can believe God has a plan for me.

Life Application: I can trust God to help me speak boldly about Him

Day 3: Dare to Believe

Bible Story: Paul Proclaimed Salvation (Acts 16:16-34)

Life Application: I can trust God’s plan of salvation and share His love with others.

Day 4: Dare to Stand Strong

Bible Story: Paul Responded Wisely (Acts 21:27-23:11)

Life Application: I can trust God to help me have self-control and honor Him with my actions.

Day 5: Dare to Trust

Bible Story: Paul Trusted God (Acts 27)

Life Application: I can trust God to give me the power to face my fears no matter what comes next.

Daily Study for Youth

Day 1: Dare to Change

Lesson Title: Sharp Turn (Acts 9:1-18)

Lesson Aim: Lead students to recognize changes God might want to make in them and describe differences such changes would make in their lives.

Day 2: Dare to Speak Up

Lesson Title: Sudden Drop (Acts 9:19-31)

Lesson Aim: Lead students to trust God to help them be bold in both their words and actions.

Day 3: Dare to Believe

Lesson Title: Violent Shakes (Acts 16:25-34)

Lesson Aim: Lead students to trust God’s plan of salvation and share His love with others.

Day 4: Dare to Stand Strong

Lesson Title: Steep Climb (Acts 21:27-23:11)

Lesson Aim: Lead students to trust God to help them build relationships with others for the purpose of sharing Christ with them.

Day 5: Dare to Trust

Lesson Title: Barrel Roll (Acts 27:13-44)

Lesson Aim: Lead students to trust God to go with them in whatever situation they face.

Daily Study for Adults

Day 1: Dare to Change

Lesson Title: Dare to Change (Acts 9:1-19a)

Lesson Truth: When God is involved, we have every reason to embrace change and no reason to be afraid.

Lesson Aim: Lead adults to recognize changes God might want to make in them and describe differences such changes would make in their lives.

Day 2: Dare to Speak Up

Lesson Title: Dare to Speak Up (Acts 9:19b-30)

Lesson Truth: We can speak up boldly about God and His work in the face of difficult situations.

Lesson Aim: Lead adults to identify difficult situations in which they can speak up boldly about God and His work and to decide how they will speak up in one such situation.

Day 3: Dare to Believe

Lesson Title: Dare to Believe (Acts 16:16-34)

Lesson Truth: When we dare to believe in Jesus, we will express our faith in positive ways.

Lesson Aim: Lead adults to discover ways believers can express their faith and to dare to believe in Jesus or, if already Christians, to choose one way they will express their faith this week.

Day 4: Dare to Stand Strong

Lesson Title: Dare to Serve Faithfully (Acts 20:17-23:11)

Lesson Truth: God calls us to serve Him faithfully and then helps us do so.

Lesson Aim: Lead adults to develop a definition of faithful service to God and to evaluate the extent this definition is true of their lives.

Day 5: Dare to Trust

Lesson Title: Dare to Trust (Acts 27:1-44)

Lesson Truth: Instead of giving in to our fears amid difficult situations, we can trust God in all of them.

Lesson Aim: Lead adults to acknowledge that responding to difficult situations with trust in God is wiser than responding with fear and to commit to trust God in one such situation.
