B&H, LifeWay take home six SEPA Awards

B&H Español and LifeWay Español won a combined six awards at the Spanish Evangelical Publishers Association (SEPA) Awards held April 30-May 3 in Miami during Expolit 2015, the largest annual conference and expo designed to promote the growth of ministry and resources within Spanish-speaking markets. These awards follow B&H Español being named Publisher of the Year the past two years.

B&H to publish lost Spurgeon sermons with critical review


Nashville-based B&H Publishing will release “The Lost Sermons of Charles Spurgeon,” a multi-volume edition of early Spurgeon sermons and sermon outlines.
The collection of over 400 sermons and outlines dates from Spurgeon’s days as a young pastor outside of Cambridge. The son of a minister, Spurgeon came to faith in 1850 during a service at a Primitive Methodist Church. That encounter with God set him on a path to become one of the most prolific preachers in the English language.

In “Autopsy of a Deceased Church,” out this month from Nashville-based B&H Publishing, LifeWay president and CEO Thom S. Rainer found 10 factors – from slow erosion of the congregation and too many short-term pastors to a lack of prayer and neglected facilities – that cause churches to decline and die.

New book tells story of murder, forgiveness
