Update: Congratulations to our winner, Brenda Gonzalez! Brenda, please check your email!
How about a giveaway to start your weekend off right?

About the Book:
Angie Smith is one who was quick to encourage a friend, but struggled to believe that God could truly make something spectacular out of her brokenness and disappointments. Mended (B&H Publishing) takes you on a journey to show how faith lived in the regular events of daily life is all that it takes to be a part of creating God’s picture of redemption in your life and those around you. Your life does make a difference—because of how He is magnified in the cracks.

Thru listening to her speak and reading her book I am truly amazed at what she has overcome in life, thru her faith in God. I am very excited to see what this new book is all about. She is inspirational to all women! Thank you Angie!

Currently reading, Stormie Omartian’s book, “Led by the Holy Spirit” – it’s great! Will be re-reading John Eldredge’s book, “Beautiful Out-law” as well – it’s great too!
Correction: The book by Stormie Omartian is actually, “Lead Me Holy Spirit”.
Right now I’m reading Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. Next will be The Harbinger and Ann Voskamp’s One Thousand Gifts for my Christian book club discussions in January and February. I would love to introduce Angie Smith to my book club—I think that Mended would lend itself to great discussion. I followed Angie’s blog throughout her pregnancy with Audrey Caroline and beyond, and I have an idea that Mended is filled with the spiritual lessons that Angie learned from the Lord during that difficult time.
I just finished The Power of a Praying Woman. Currently reading Unglued by Lysa Terkhurst (sp?)Thanks and Let.It.Go to by Karen Ehman. Would love to win another great resource book.
