This week we are learning about consequences. Parenting is difficult no matter what, but this generation, with social media and technology at their fingertips, presents its own unique hurdles. “Ultimately, there are no trite answers. Our Weekly Bible Verse reminds us from where we get wisdom. It’s an interesting verse to use while learning about King Saul. When you think about it, when Saul stopped obeying God’s commands, He took His favor off of Saul.
Satan does not like it when we choose to follow and obey Christ. The great enemy of God will seek to defeat us, pull us from full devotion to Christ, and make us ineffective. Thankfully, we are not left alone to face this great enemy.
The Unit Verse for this month is Psalm 17:6. This verse is a good reminder that God is ready to help us, and all we need to do is call to Him. Work together as a family to memorize the verse. Say the verse in a round robin, each member saying one word, until you have said the verse several times.
