Thanks for these suggestions, I am having a hard time getting ideas from the printed literature. I wonder if I am the only one or if others are experience the same thing.

I have taught for years and this is the first time I can remember using this story!

    • Jeff Land says:

      Hi Mary Ann,

Could you explain your comment more. I’m not sure what you mean by having trouble getting ideas? Do you mean that you don’t like the ideas or that the ideas listed don’t work for your class? What age level are you teaching?

  2. MaryAnn Hanson says:

Maybe I am feeling a little frustrated. At the end of the session last Sunday I felt like I had gotten nothing across. That makes me work harder this week.

It just seems that the activities have not been ones that my group enjoys. Age level, pre kindergarten and kindergarten. I try to focus on one aim and try to direct all activities toward that aim. I bog down with ‘Life Point’, Christ Focus’,’ Life Action’. I guess things have to be simple for me, but I think they need to be simple for 4s and 5s also.

I appreciate all of the good things in the literature and don’t like being critical, but you asked!

    • Jeff Land says:

      Hey Mary Ann,

I don’t think you are critical, just stating how you feel. I am sorry that you are getting bogged down with the different points and foci. I suggest you just choose one and focus on that one. Are you using the Kindergarten curriuculum or 3s-PreK?

  3. nancy duncan says:

One problem that I am having is trying to relate the activity page to the story. My 4 yr olds are quite board with the lesson sooner if I don’t research some sort of craft or activity to teach along my lesson.

    • I’m sorry Nancy. We are working to add more crafts and activities that will be a little bit more complicated to prepare, but they will be longer to do in Sunday School, so hopefully that will help.

  4. Is there a link to the extra printable stuff on the cd? With the old curriculum I could get online and print the stuff I needed from the cd. That was so helpful so that I did not have to bring the cd back and forth with me from home to church. I was going to print the donkey picture for tomorrow and now I can’t find anywhere to get that stuff online anymore.

  5. MaryAnn Hanson says:

I am using 3′s-prek and I think this maybe the problem, I need the next older material.
