Hold a baby and sway or hold the hands of a younger 1 as he takes a few steps.
  • Sit on the floor with the children and look on mirrors. Hold a mirror so a child can see himself. Encourage older preschoolers to see if they can see friends in the mirror. Give the children opportunities to talk about their friends. Thank God for friends.
  • Talk about the Bible story. Explain: “In the Bible we read about friends and how they loved each other. David and Jonathan loved each other. The Bible says that friends love.” Open the Bible to the Life Verse and point to the Bible phrase.
