To help the Boomers in your group discuss what it means to recover from failure, print copies of the following article and distribute to small groups. Lead individuals to discuss how they have personally recovered from failure. Guide them to discuss the following:
- Of the five actions this article talks about, which is the most difficult? Why?
- Looking back on your own failures, what do you wish you had done differently—not in terms of preventing the failure, but in dealing with it?
- How can (or should) a follower of Christ deal with failure differently than someone who doesn’t have a relationship with Christ?
We want to hear from you! How will you deal with the topic of recovery from failure with the Boomers in your group?
