We wrap up our six session unit, Honest to God: Real Questions People Ask with a question people have been asking for centuries: “If God is good, why do people suffer?” It’s a question that comes up with every natural disaster, school shooting, and wartime atrocity. If God could stop it, but chose not to, then is He really good? Or, if God wanted to prevent it, but wasn’t able to, then is He really God?
