From the Editor: Hope Even After Failure

fail

Take a minute to think about the biggest failure in your life. Perhaps it was a failed business venture. Or the failure to get into a certain school. Perhaps you feel like you have failed in an aspect of parenting. Or you have a failed marriage.

Maybe you’ve experienced a moral failure. It may be one that is public knowledge, or it may be one that no one knows about except for you and God.

Whatever the case, there aren’t many people who haven’t experienced something that has made them wonder, how do I bounce back from this? Is there hope after failure?

In a recent blog post, Dr. Ronnie Floyd, General Editor of Bible Studies for Life, reflected on one of the best known stories of hope renewed in all of Scripture: the Apostle Peter. Read Dr. Floyd’s article as you prepare for Session 5 of Let Hope In.
